Ryan J. Gibbs  is an experienced legal professional with appraisal and commercial brokerage background who has handled more than 7,000 tax appeals before state and local tribunals. He has recovered millions for his corporate and individual clients and has successfully resolved legal matters in hundreds of jurisdictions.

 

Mr. Gibbs was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, the London School of Economics in London, England, and obtained a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of law in Chicago.

 

Mr. Gibbs began his career in Chicago representing tenants in their negotiations with commercial landlords before beginning a successful tenure at a Chicago Loop law firm as a tax consultant and an attorney. Mr. Gibbs attended Loyola University School of Law in Chicago in the evenings, working full-time for his firm during the day. He gained valuable and diverse legal experience that became the foundation for The Gibbs Firm. Mr. Gibbs is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Illinois, and is a licensed tax consultant in Texas, Tennessee and Arizona. Additionally, Mr. Gibbs is an active member of the Cincinnati and Ohio state bar associations. Through numerous other affiliations and contacts, Mr. Gibbs is able to gain admission to represent his property tax clients in all jurisdictions throughout the United States. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Miriam.
